Just curious, what are the stats of a wall when it's upgrading?
When you upgrade a wall, all that changes is the health points while it's upgrading.
so armor sticks? i notice that it seems walls take more damage when they're upgrading while a vampire is attacking..
Armour stays the same, but they take more damage because the new wall has more HP.
It's like if you upgrade a ruby wall into a diamond wall. Vampire with hellfire shreds the ruby wall, but as soon as the upgrade starts the wall all of a sudden will last a lot longer because the diamond wall has insane HP.
so it's okay to upgrade while vamp is attacking? saw someone in game last night say that it's a bad idea to upgrade while vamp is attacking
Thats nonsense. Of course you are going to upgrade if you cant hold
That's not completely nonsense. For example Garnet wall is stronger than upgrading Ruby wall.
so is it only applicable to the Garnet to Ruby upgrade sequence or does it also apply to the other walls on different tiers?
It's only garnet to ruby, I believe that repair rates are different on the garnet wall to ruby. And repair rates are also affected when upgrading even if the wall isn't finished. You can test it out yourself. A garnet wall with engineers can hold a Dracula recipe. And as soon as you start upgrading you'll find it doesn't hold as well. I believe ruby is the only wall with a lesser repair rate than the other walls, besides that it's always beneficial to upgrade your wall for the HP increase.
I had that to calculate a few things, idk about the armor while upgrading tho
